Signing up
We recommend signing up as soon as possible, as we reserve the right to end accreditation as soon as all 200 places have been allocated. Check on this site whether you are eligible. The final decision on your eligibility rests with the MEDIA Programme. We aim to let you know if you have been accepted within a few days of receiving your application.
A special rate
Accreditation on the MIPCOM MEDIA Programme Umbrella Stand entitles you to special rates for market participation of €515. We also offer dedicated booths (‘mini-stands’) for a price of €1,000
If you want to participate in MIPJunior on October 2-3 as well, there is a combined rate of €1191. This also gives you the right to include three programmes in the MIPJunior digital library at no charge. Charges for additional programmes can be obtained from Reed Midem.
Please note that once the MEDIA Programme has accepted you, you will still need to register with Reed Midem. We provide you with full details once you have been accepted.
Once you have your registration, you will be able to book a hotel via the Reed Midem MIPCOM website. Reed Midem has block bookings at hotels in Cannes for participants staying a minimum number of nights. Reductions on the cost of the air fare are also available via the MIPCOM site.
Catalogue listings
And remember: if you want to be in the MIPCOM catalogue, you must complete registration with Reed Midem by September 2, 2010.
The deadline to be listed in our stand catalogue is also September 2. This ‘Glimpse of Europe’ will be available online in advance of MIPCOM and in print form at MIPCOM, including for all MIPCOM delegates in their delegate bag.
After pre-registering, you can use the same section of the site to upload details of your programmes and photos for the media-stands.eu catalogue. If you are not yet ready to supply that information, you can come back to the site later to do so.
Who is eligible to be on the stand?
During the sign-up process, you will be asked to provide information about how you meet the eligibility criteria.
Accreditation is open to independent European producers or distributors, i.e. those established in Europe and offering European content (see below for the definition of European content).
During the sign-up process you will be asked for an affirmation that you meet this and the other criteria.
Once you have signed up, we submit your application to the MEDIA Programme to check that you meet the eligibility criteria and that there is still space left. We aim to let you know within a week at most whether you have been accepted.
When allocating dedicated booths (‘mini-stands’), priority will be given to European companies with experience of audiovisual and film markets, whose catalogue is significant in size, diversified in content and geographic origin, and contains programmes which have been made recently.
Akredytacja uprawnia do udziału w targach, towarzyszącej konferencji i spotkaniach producenckich oraz daje całoroczny dostęp do bazy danych firm uczestniczących w MIPCOM.
